Systems Engineer - Tier 3 (Remote - US)

This role offers the opportunity to operate at the highest tier of technical support within complex IT environments, including servers, cloud services, networking, and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for troubleshooting critical issues, supporting escalated client requests, and contributing to advanced projects that enhance operational efficiency. This position allows you to apply deep technical expertise while collaborating with a team of IT professionals in a remote work environment. You will manage client relationships, coordinate with vendors, and ensure secure and reliable IT operations. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving, mentoring junior staff, and implementing solutions across diverse technologies. Accountabilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced server, networking, and cloud services issues.
• Respond to escalated client incidents and provide top-tier technical support.
• Administer, install, and configure Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Manage Microsoft cloud services, including Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Maintain virtualization environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Coordinate and resolve complex issues with vendors and third-party systems, including DMS, ISP providers, and PCI compliance.
• Manage security events and perform client migrations for specific technologies or hardware.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client IT administrators and support key client relationships.

• Extensive experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file share management.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for Microsoft Exchange, 365 mail flow, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Cloud PC solutions.
• Proficiency with Cisco and Meraki networking, firewall rule implementation, and email security systems.
• Strong expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and automation using PowerShell, scripts, or RMM tools like Kaseya.
• Experience managing large-scale IT environments, including monitoring, reporting, and performance optimization.
• Certifications such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and CISSP are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
