Network Security Engineer - Mid-Atlantic region (Remote - EST preferred)
Skills
- Hands-on experience with SASE platforms (Netskope, Zscaler, Palo Alto preferred)
- Practical NGFW experience with Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, or Cisco
- Cloud networking and firewall deployments in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- SD-WAN design and deployment experience
- Strong networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VPN, BGP, QoS)
- Ability to author technical documentation, runbooks and security policies
- Consultative communication and project leadership skills
- U.S. based and eligible to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide network security implementation and consulting services across multiple customer environments
- Design, deploy, and manage SASE solutions (Netskope, Zscaler, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Implement and administer firewall platforms (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point, Cisco)
- Deploy and configure firewall/NAT and security controls in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Support SD‑WAN deployments and integrate with SASE solutions
- Produce high-level and technical documentation: as-builts, diagrams, implementation guides, runbooks
- Lead project workstreams and act as the trusted network security advisor in customer conversations
- Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- Relevant vendor certifications (SASE, NGFW, CCNA/CCNP) preferred
- Professional services or consulting experience desirable
