In this role, you will design and implement backend systems from scratch, build scalable APIs, and contribute to high-performance, production-ready services. Accountabilities

• Design and build backend services from architecture to deployment.
• Develop RESTful APIs and high-concurrency systems to handle real-world scale.
• Solve complex engineering problems and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver maintainable, high-quality code.
• Contribute to a culture of ownership through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring.
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and performant in cloud-native environments.

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Proven experience building greenfield systems (not just maintaining legacy code).
• Proficiency in Golang or Python.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of REST API design, distributed systems, and concurrency.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and ownership mindset.
