Staff Full Stack Engineer, Lending

This role offers the chance to lead and shape the technical direction of lending products used by millions of customers. As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you will architect, build, and optimize distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, and data-intensive services. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver seamless, reliable, and scalable lending experiences. Your work will directly influence product strategy, system architecture, and engineering best practices, while mentoring team members and driving a culture of technical excellence in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Accountabilities

·         Lead the design, development, and delivery of complex, high-impact projects on the lending platform.

·         Provide technical leadership and clear communication across cross-functional stakeholders.

·         Optimize lending systems for performance, scalability, and reliability to meet the needs of a growing user base.

·         Collaborate with product, design, and operations partners to create secure and seamless user experiences.

·         Mentor engineers on best practices for architecture, coding standards, and scalable system design.

·         Advocate for continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and maintainability.

·         Deep expertise in building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, and data-intensive services.

·         Strong full-stack development skills with proficiency in backend architecture and modern frontend frameworks.

·         Experience designing secure, reliable, and performant systems, ideally in payments, lending, or regulated consumer finance.

·         Proven technical leadership and communication skills, with a track record of influencing architecture and product decisions.

·         Highly proactive, solution-oriented, and able to execute on complex projects with minimal supervision.
