Accountabilities

·         Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously enhance backend and AI-driven software systems.

·         Collaborate across teams to implement AI capabilities into business workflows and technical tools.

·         Contribute to system architecture decisions and lead development initiatives from concept to production.

·         Participate actively in team ceremonies, grooming sessions, planning discussions, and agile workflows.

·         Provide mentorship, contribute to code reviews, and help elevate engineering best practices.

·         Take part in on-call rotations to support system reliability, performance, and uptime.

·         Five to eight years of professional experience in software development, with strong backend expertise.

·         Advanced proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Go, or Python.

·         Strong experience with microservices, APIs, and data-heavy distributed systems.

·         Familiarity with AWS or Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools, ideally Terraform.

·         Experience building AI-driven features or tools, or strong motivation to explore AI-focused development.

·         Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

·         Ability to solve complex problems, operate in ambiguous environments, and drive initiatives with autonomy.

·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

·         Salary range of 135,000 to 170,000 USD, depending on experience.
