Sr Engineer, Field Services

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Engineer, Field Services in the United States.

This role is ideal for a technically skilled, hands-on engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys leading complex field service projects. You will manage IT initiatives across remote healthcare offices, including office relocations, equipment refreshes, and IT closet modernization. The role requires close collaboration with leadership, IT teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless technology operations. You will provide mentorship to junior staff, deliver onsite installations and maintenance, and act as a trusted advisor for technology solutions. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational efficiency while supporting critical healthcare services across multiple locations. Travel up to 50% nationally is required, allowing for a variety of on-site project experiences.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead technical initiatives for remote healthcare offices, including office relocations, equipment refreshes, and IT closet modernization.
  • Perform onsite implementation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff members to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with market leadership and IT departments to plan and execute projects efficiently.
  • Monitor remote infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and proactively manage support escalations.
  • Document site configurations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with IT standards.
  • Serve as a liaison with healthcare professionals, delivering high-quality, customer-focused IT services.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in end-user computing, IT support, or field services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems for desktops and servers.
  • Experience with application upgrades, security patching, and platform updates.
  • Understanding of core network technologies, including LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, and VPNs.
  • Ability to plan, set up, and execute healthcare office IT projects, including network and equipment layouts.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move equipment up to 60 lbs and perform onsite physical tasks as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally.
