Cecil College is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Service Delivery to lead and improve technology services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while enhancing user experience and infrastructure reliability.
Responsibilities: The Director will oversee technology infrastructure, manage IT Service Desk operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead modernization efforts across communication and data systems.
Skills: Candidates should possess strong knowledge in IT infrastructure, IT Service Management (ITSM), project management methodologies, and cybersecurity frameworks, along with effective leadership capabilities.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), at least seven years of IT experience including three in leadership, and familiarity with ITIL and relevant compliance frameworks; certifications are preferred.
Location: This onsite role is based in North East, Maryland, USA with some travel required between locations.
Compensation: $90000 - $93000 / Annually

This position ensures the delivery of reliable, secure, and customer-focused technology services that support the College’s mission and strategic priorities.
The Director leads infrastructure modernization efforts, oversees vendor-managed network and communications services, and champions IT Service Management (ITSM) practices grounded in ITIL principles. The role focuses on optimizing service delivery, enhancing user experience, and maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. The Director works collaboratively across the College to ensure that technology services are stable, efficient, and continuously improved.
This position is available starting January 2026 but remains open until filled. This is an onsite position located in North East, MD.
