Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and grow a global IT infrastructure engineering team to support engineering, manufacturing, and launch operations.
- Define and execute strategy for computing, storage, network, virtualization, OS, and DevOps infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
- Partner with business leaders (Space Systems, Launch Operations) to prioritize infrastructure initiatives and meet aggressive program deadlines.
- Develop and enforce processes and procedures to deliver high availability, uptime, security, and compliance across facilities worldwide.
- Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract negotiations for IT hardware and software.
- Design and implement a 24x7 global support model and incident response processes.
- Ensure infrastructure fleet meets company security and regulatory requirements (including ITAR-related controls).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Equivalent experience option accepted (demonstrated through 16+ years total work experience).
- U.S. citizenship or equivalent status required for ITAR-regulated work (per job requirements).
