Senior Technical Program Manager (US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager in the United States.

In this role, you will lead high-visibility, multi-team initiatives across engineering, product, and design to deliver impactful technical programs. You will oversee the full lifecycle from intake through roadmap prioritization to launch, ensuring smooth handoffs between Product and Engineering. Your focus will be on improving platform reliability, user experience, and operational outcomes, while maintaining compliance and governance standards. You will coordinate across teams, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and implement scalable processes to ensure predictable delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoys bringing clarity and structure to complex technical programs.

Accountabilities

  • Lead intake-to-launch processes, ensuring robust governance, artifacts, and stage gates are in place for program delivery.
  • Run executive operating cadence, including Critical Project Reviews, and maintain dashboards to surface risks, decisions, and trade-offs.
  • Deliver cross-functional programs, orchestrating planning, dependency management, and execution across product, engineering, design, clinical, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with SRE, Security, and Compliance teams to enforce SLOs/SLAs, change management, release gates, HIPAA/SOC 2 controls, and post-launch reviews.
  • Standardize program management practices through templates, workflows, and documentation in Jira/Confluence.
  • Define KPIs, measure outcomes, and ensure program impact aligns with business and user experience goals.
  • 5+ years leading large-scale technical programs, preferably in high-growth or startup environments.
  • Proven experience running executive forums and creating organization-wide adoption of program practices.
  • Technical fluency to engage in architecture discussions, data pipelines/ML workflows, APIs, and RFCs.
  • Hands-on with Agile/Lean methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), dependency/risk management, and launch readiness.
  • Experience in regulated environments (healthcare/digital health preferred), with awareness of HIPAA/SOC 2 compliance and audit-friendly processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to drive clarity in ambiguity.
  • Bonus: experience with AWS (incl. Step Functions), Customer.io, Retool, contact center tooling, or analytics/ML platforms.
