We are seeking a Project Controls Analyst with a Q or TS Clearance to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
Supports the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System.
Performs cost estimating, analysis and control activities.
Supervises and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities.
Supports the Project Controls Division with quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, schedule monitoring, report writing, and computer operations.
Identifies trends for management attention.
Demonstrates an intermediate level understanding of project controls general technical skills.
Utilizes knowledge related to engineering and construction management controls.
Provides project controls and/or project management in regard to:
project budgets including cost estimating
cost control and cost analysis
project scheduling
implementation of corrective actions
developing and delivering detailed and accurate status reports
implementing and monitoring technical projects.
Requirements
Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
Clearance – To be considered, you MUST have an active or very recently active DOE “Q” Clearance or DoD “Top Secret” Clearance.
Must be skilled in understanding technical processes, engineering drawings, quantity determinations, and mathematical and financial reports.
Must have knowledge in the use of computers for executing work processes.
Must be skilled in oral and written communication.
Must have knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tools and processes.
