In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end software and cloud service pipelines. You will work with containerized environments, automated CI/CD workflows, and cloud-native applications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to create high-quality solutions, resolve production issues, and implement automated testing routines. You will contribute to capacity planning, system monitoring, and technical leadership, while driving innovation in cloud services and container orchestration platforms. Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize end-to-end test and deployment pipelines for managed cloud services.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on software design proposals, ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and fitness for purpose.
• Analyze system performance metrics for capacity planning and resolution of performance issues.
• Write automated testing routines and build frameworks for CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage the promotion of system changes and monitor ongoing performance using automated tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and troubleshoot production issues.
• Lead onboarding of new engineers, guide contractor performance, and ensure project deliverables are met.
• Review requests for enhancement (RFE) and translate them into actionable system requirements and designs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Golang, Java, C, C++, or other object-oriented languages.
• Experience managing Linux-based systems in public cloud environments.
• Strong background in debugging, code optimization, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift and Linux containers.
• Experience delivering hosted cloud services and leading technical projects.
• Knowledge of standard TCP/IP networking, protocols, and troubleshooting production systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Competitive salary range: $157,248 – $191,840 USD, commensurate with experience.
