Senior .NET Engineer (Remote)

This role offers an opportunity to work on complex web solutions, extending and enhancing enterprise-level applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will design, develop, and maintain robust .NET applications, dashboards, and backend services while ensuring system performance, security, and compliance. The position requires a detail-oriented engineer with a strong grasp of modern web technologies and software architecture principles. You will participate in client-facing activities, code reviews, and technical decision-making, contributing to both development and continuous improvement initiatives. Accountabilities

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will:

• Translate application requirements into the design of complex web solutions and integrate new technologies.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Microsoft .NET, C#, and XML, including email workflows, FTP/SFTP integrations, and dashboards via Power BI.
• Create responsive website layouts and user interfaces following HTML/CSS standards and 508 Compliance guidelines.
• Advocate for best practices in coding, testing, error handling, documentation, system performance, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, QA coordination, and testing activities to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.

Candidates should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, or three years of equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in requirements analysis, technical design documentation, software development, and testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining and developing applications using agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
• Experience with web development technologies, graphic tools, web server administration, and database management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and/or Azure.
• At least 2 years supporting systems handling financial or sensitive personal information.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with technical teams and clients effectively.
