Senior Full Stack Engineer I, Web & 3D Integrations

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will join a cutting-edge engineering team focused on web-based 3D toolchains and their integration with distributed manufacturing systems. In this hands-on role, you will develop and maintain APIs, orchestration layers, and backend services that connect design tools to a global network of production facilities. You will collaborate closely with product and operations teams to optimize workflows, improve throughput, and ensure high reliability. Accountabilities:

·         Develop and maintain backend systems, APIs, and services that integrate 3D design tools with supply chain and manufacturing infrastructure.

·         Orchestrate availability and access to 3D tools based on operational triggers and capacity requirements.

·         Manage submission, storage, and distribution of CAD outputs to cloud and remote manufacturing centers.

·         Support internal API development and microservice architecture for enhanced functionality and efficiency.

·         Instrument tools to provide actionable insights for planning, forecasting, and improving operational throughput.

·         Integrate with third-party APIs to transmit and retrieve 3D data for processing.

·         Identify technical debt and propose solutions to enhance system performance, security, and maintainability.

·         Collaborate with product management and operations engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

·         6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in backend development using TypeScript or Node.js.

·         Strong understanding of backend frameworks and technologies such as NestJS, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.

·         Experience with full project lifecycle ownership, from concept to production and maintenance.

·         Ability to analyze business processes and apply technical solutions to operational challenges.

·         Excellent communication skills for discussing complex technical, architectural, or organizational issues.

·         Comfortable working in a highly agile, iterative software development environment.

·         Self-motivated, organized, and capable of thriving in a remote-first organization.

·         Bonus: Familiarity with 3D file formats, browser-based 3D tools, and supply chain or operations-focused engineering experience.
