Senior Audit Associate

Accountabilities:

• Lead client audit engagements from planning to final delivery, managing scope, execution, and budget.
• Supervise and mentor associates and interns throughout the audit process.
• Identify and communicate audit issues and solutions to managers or partners.
• Research and implement new audit and accounting standards, ensuring team understanding and client alignment.
• Develop a deep understanding of client operations, using this insight to guide audit procedures and train team members.
• Participate regularly in professional development and internal training initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BS/BA).
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• CPA certification or CPA exam eligibility is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proven leadership skills with experience training or supervising others.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
• A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to high-level client service.
• Experience in industries such as investment partnerships, private equity, real estate, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with personal and entity taxation is preferred, though not required.
