Senior Agile Product Owner (Remote - US)

As a Senior Agile Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and successful delivery of complex digital products within a dynamic and fast-evolving environment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll translate business needs into clear, actionable product roadmaps and ensure alignment between stakeholders, development teams, and company objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who combines business acumen, technical understanding, and agile leadership to deliver impactful solutions that enhance customer experience and operational performance. You will be instrumental in shaping a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Accountabilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify priorities and translate them into clear, actionable user stories and requirements.
- Lead agile product development initiatives, partnering with Scrum Masters and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate product usage, performance, and feedback to drive ongoing improvements and increase user adoption.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training and documentation materials to support product rollout and adoption.
- Coach and mentor other Product Owners, fostering collaboration and best practices across agile teams.
- Champion a customer-centric, data-driven approach to decision-making, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an agile environment.
- Proven track record leading large-scale system implementations or product launches.
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management and relationship-building across technical and business teams.
- Certifications such as CSPO or SAFe are highly desirable.
- Experience with underwriting, policy administration systems, broker management, or data analytics is a strong advantage.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
