QA Automation Test Engineer II (Remote - US)

We are seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer II to design, develop, and execute automated and manual test scripts that ensure high-quality software delivery. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine acceptance criteria, implement best practices in test automation, and contribute to continuous improvement of software quality processes. You will leverage modern programming languages, CI/CD tools, and cloud technologies to validate applications and support robust release pipelines. This position emphasizes precision, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving, providing opportunities to influence product quality and team efficiency. You will also be responsible for creating detailed reports, identifying process improvements, and maintaining compliance with quality standards across the organization.

Accountabilities

·         Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts to validate software functionality and quality.

·         Refine acceptance criteria into actionable test cases and perform code reviews for automation scripts.

·         Report defects accurately, track resolutions, and verify fixes for assigned projects.

·         Establish and enforce testing standards, methods, and procedures across projects to improve software quality.

·         Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD platforms to support continuous delivery.

·         Leverage synthetic data and collaborate with teams to simulate realistic testing scenarios.

·         Participate in internal and cross-functional code and design reviews, suggesting improvements to processes and standards.

·         Generate reports summarizing test results, project status, and operational metrics.

·         Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience.

·         2–4 years of experience in QA testing, with exposure to automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

·         Proficiency in test automation and programming languages such as Java or Python.

·         Familiarity with CI/CD tools, cloud technologies, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, ReadyAPI).

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw valid conclusions from test results.

·         Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing workflows.

·         Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.

·         Preferred: experience with software quality management systems, version control, and integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

·         Competitive salary range: $62,400 - $112,400 per year, based on experience and skills.
