Principal UI/UX Designer (Remote)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal UI/UX Designer (Remote) in United States.

This fully remote role offers the opportunity to lead hands-on UI/UX design for next-generation SaaS applications, including digital twin, simulation, and operational dashboard solutions. You will shape user experiences that directly impact critical industries, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, visually compelling products. The role requires guiding the design process from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and final visual design while maintaining and evolving a consistent enterprise design system. You will mentor other designers, embed user-centered design practices across the organization, and leverage AI-driven tools to enhance workflow and innovation.   • Accountabilities:
  •  • Lead and execute hands-on UI/UX design across SaaS products, focusing on digital twin, simulation, and operational dashboards.
  •  • Take designs end-to-end: from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and final visual implementation.
  •  • Maintain, scale, and evolve the enterprise design system to ensure consistency and maximum impact across products.
  •  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align user experience with business objectives.
  •  • Mentor and guide other designers, elevating organizational design standards and promoting user-centered design principles.
  •  • Support cross-functional projects beyond the core product line as needed.
  •  • Promote AI-enhanced, data-driven approaches to design and encourage adoption of new tools and workflows.

  • Requirements:
  •  • 14+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX design.
  •  • Demonstrated leadership in design, with experience at senior or principal levels.
  •  • Proven portfolio showcasing enterprise SaaS product design, including dashboards, simulations, or analytics applications.
  •  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, or Sketch.
  •  • Strong visual design skills and understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS/React/Angular) to inform interaction decisions.
  •  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  •  • Ability to mentor designers and embed user-centered design practices organization-wide.
  •  • Preferred: Master’s degree, experience designing digital twin applications, simulation, or operational dashboards, and familiarity with AI or generative design tools to enhance design processes.
