Mid-Level Software Engineer

This role is designed for a motivated engineer eager to contribute to building and maintaining scalable, high-performance software systems. You will work on backend development, microservices, and cloud-based architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and innovative solutions. The position combines hands-on coding with opportunities to contribute to system design, automation, and performance optimization. • Accountabilities
• Design, develop, modify, and implement backend applications using Java and relevant frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Build, deploy, and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Participate in testing processes, code reviews, and software certification to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently while analyzing root causes.
• Implement cloud-based solutions and infrastructure on AWS, including S3, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, and ECS.
• Support automation, containerization, and orchestration using Docker, Podman, and related technologies.

• Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Java development, with hands-on expertise in frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience developing and maintaining microservices and containerized applications.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including Lambda, S3, EventBridge, SQS, and ECS.
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs, SQL, stored procedures, and Git/Maven workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Preferred: AWS Certification, Agile/SAFe methodologies, Terraform scripting, or automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
