This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect - EA Practices in the United States.

As a Lead Enterprise Architect, you will shape the organization’s technology landscape by aligning IT strategy with business objectives. You will guide architecture practices, develop enterprise architecture capabilities, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. This role requires collaboration with senior leaders, architects, and stakeholders to define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and deliver enterprise architecture products that reduce technical debt. You will have the opportunity to influence organizational strategy, mentor peers, and implement world-class Enterprise Architecture Management Systems (EAMS) across a complex IT environment. The position offers remote flexibility with occasional travel for collaboration and training.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture Capability Model to provide tools and acceleration for all architect personas.
  • Align with architecture groups to establish standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Define, execute, and deliver the Enterprise Architecture Management System (EAMS) roadmap to meet organizational objectives and key results.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and architects to define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision.
  • Translate business strategy into technology initiatives and ensure alignment across the IT ecosystem.
  • Drive adoption of architecture principles, frameworks, and best practices to support innovation and reduce technical debt.
  • Mentor architects and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative architecture community.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in enterprise-impact roles (application, domain, or security architecture).
  • Proven ability to navigate complex IT ecosystems and drive technical consensus.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Preferred: Enterprise Architecture Framework certifications and experience leveraging one or more Enterprise Architecture Management Systems (EAMS).
  • Experience connecting business objectives with technology strategy and architecture solutions.

  • Competitive salary range: $142,300 - $195,700 per year, plus potential bonus incentives.
