We are seeking a Director, IT Integrations/AI to join our growing corporate IT team. This role will lead a technology roadmap to optimize a connected Saas systems architecture, integrations, workflows, while also helping to drive the organization’s AI strategy and roadmap. This role serves as a bridge between business units, IT Applications, IT Project Management, Data & Analytics, and Security teams—ensuring applications, data, and workflows are aligned with business goals, future-ready for scale, and infused with AI capabilities where appropriate. This role will be an architect for enterprise automation, minimize duplication across systems, and guide creation of scalable and secure end-to-end solutions. A successful candidate will standardize across a unified iPaas solution, design and implement scalable Saas integrations, and incorporate AI-driven capabilities into the ecosystem while ensuring data integrity and security. This role will also build and lead a team to collaborate closely with cross-functional business department stakeholders.
The Details:
Experienced enterprise automation process leader with cross-functional reach to orchestrate and build AI, intelligent agents, and automation across workflows.
Provide technical vision to lead the design and governance of APIs, web services, middleware, and AI frameworks across a suite of SaaS business applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
Collaborate with Architects and cross-functional business teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, People) to compile a prioritized, rolling Integrations Roadmap that aligns with business strategy for greater efficiency and productivity.
Architect practical solutions via microservices, event-driven systems, containerization, API-first designs, and AI-enabled platforms to build connected, reusable, secure, and scalable ecosystems.
Hire and build a team to meet the needs of the company’s growth strategy.
Lead or participate in technical design sessions and create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational guidelines.
Collaborate with fellow IT teams, including Application Admins and Developers, IT Project Management, and IT Support & Solutions as well as Security and Data & Analytics teams to ensure successful implementations.
Collaborate with vendors to harness ROI and drive adoption of software investments.
Establish and enforce integration development standards, ensuring the reliability and performance of integrated solutions.
Implement frameworks and integration strategy to manage AI tools that achieve efficiency and productivity goals while managing risk, privacy and compliance.
8+ years of progressive experience designing and implementing integration solutions, including 5+ years leading technical resources in dynamic, high-growth environments.
Experience working with iPaaS solutions (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, AWS AppFlow) to integrate SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Gainsight, Rippling).
Experience applying emerging AI/ML solutions in Generative AI and Agentic AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Glean, Replit).
Strong knowledge of integration methods such as API (SOAP, REST), JSON, MFT, Pub/Sub, Webhooks, Event Driven Architecture, etc.
Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards such as OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and API key-based security.
Understanding of data solutions, structures, mapping, transformation, ETL processes for ease of collaboration with the Data & Analytics team (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence and unify diverse stakeholders, advocate for change, and drive consensus quickly.
Ability to see the “big picture” and align enterprise architecture with business strategies to scale.
Ability to mentor and guide teams, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous learning, and innovation to build and scale AI capabilities.
Curious mindset and ability to stay on top of emerging technologies and trends.
Previous experience in a fast-paced, fully-remote environment in high-tech industry preferred.

Learn governance processes for IT Project/Enhancement Intake Requests and IT Support ticket intake.
Learn current IT governance of AI tools admin privileges, permissions, and controls.
Cultivate and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners from Security and D&A via recurring meetings.
Schedule introductory meetings with key leaders from business departments to understand their operations and IT needs.
Conduct a comprehensive review of IT Saas systems and integrations landscape.
Build Workato, Glean and ChatGPT vendor relationships.
Compile and post Job Descriptions to build and recruit a team (Integration/AI Developers).
The First 60 Days
Shadow cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success/Support, Finance, Ops) to understand how systems support or block their workflows.
Begin reviewing all other existing systems and processes, including Lead-to-Cash and ERP both from employee and customer perspectives.
Identify and prioritize opportunities for quick wins to demonstrate value early.
Hire new direct reports.
90 Days & Beyond
Establish a CI/CD Sprint and Release cadence of your team now delivering new integrations, workflows, agents quarterly by working through the Integrations Roadmap, building the intake queue, and grooming the request backlog as business needs evolve over time.
Document Integration Governance Best Practices, Principles and Standards
Partner with Security and Legal teams to ensure iPaas and AI solutions and users adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Review and refine RBAC and permission levels for Integration and AI Tools.
Refine centralized logging and auditing for Integrations/AI tools with the Security and IT teams.
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $180,000 and $190,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
