Expert Game Designer (Remote - US)

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Expert Game Designer to craft engaging content and immersive experiences for players in a collaborative, innovative environment. You will lead the design of game systems, characters, gear, and interactive elements while mentoring junior designers and assisting team leads. This role requires a deep understanding of AAA game design, modern FPS or 3D action titles, and strong proficiency with Unreal Engine. You will contribute to shaping the creative vision of projects from concept through launch, ensuring high-quality gameplay experiences. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential to thrive in this role.

Accountabilities

• Lead the creation of major design content, guiding it from pitch to final implementation.
• Collaborate across departments, providing clear instructions, constructive feedback, and maintaining team morale.
• Mentor and train junior designers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Uphold design and departmental standards while serving as a positive influence on the team.
• Contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high-quality game development.
• Stay informed about industry trends and modern AAA game design principles to inform content development.

• Minimum of 2 shipped AAA titles in a design role or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Unreal Engine, ideally on FPS or 3D action games.
• Strong understanding of modern AAA action games and production pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience mentoring team members and fostering a positive team environment.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering engaging player experiences.
