Engineering Manager, Segment Personalization

This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team focused on building a cutting-edge personalization platform. You will oversee the development of scalable, data-driven solutions that enable precise audience segmentation and real-time content personalization. Collaborating closely with Machine Learning, Product, and Engineering leadership, you will drive the technical vision, mentor engineers, and ensure alignment between platform capabilities and business objectives. The position combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, cross-functional coordination, and strategic execution, allowing you to influence both product innovation and customer outcomes.

• Accountabilities:
• Lead the technical vision and strategy for the personalization engineering team.
• Design and implement scalable, high-throughput data solutions to power audience segmentation and personalized content delivery.
• Collaborate with AI, ML, analytics, and product teams to expand platform capabilities and meet evolving business needs.
• Establish and maintain data quality, governance, and system integration standards.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and experimentation.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with business goals, and adherence to technical standards.
• Guide the development and support of web stack and big data applications, extending platform capabilities using emerging technologies.
• Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of solving complex technical challenges and delivering impactful solutions.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
• Expertise in software quality, scalable system design, and high-uptime production environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and execute hands-on implementations.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
• Experience with web stack and big data applications, cloud-based data platforms, and scalable architecture.
