As a Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute to the development and modernization of critical healthcare technology systems that improve efficiency, usability, and data-driven decision-making. You will design, build, and maintain both backend services and user interfaces, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud-based technologies. This role allows you to influence medium-to-large projects, optimize system performance, and collaborate across teams to reduce technical debt and deliver scalable solutions. You will actively participate in designing APIs, data models, and integration layers, ensuring secure, robust, and high-performing software solutions. This position is ideal for someone passionate about healthcare technology, with a focus on innovation, quality, and impactful solutions.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems and user interfaces using Java/SpringBoot and Angular/TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimize APIs, data models, and integrations with frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Apply test-driven development to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features in a remote-first, Agile environment.
• Monitor and optimize data operations for scalability, performance, and security.
• Contribute to automated testing suites for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Follow CI/CD practices and utilize observability tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Proven experience with full stack development using Java/SpringBoot and Angular/TypeScript.
• Experience with unit-test automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like New Relic, CloudWatch, or Splunk.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS, and secure, scalable architecture design.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in remote-first teams, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Camunda Workflows and large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, FHIR, healthcare technology, or AI/ML integrations.
