Senior Software Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience with full-stack responsibilities
- Proficient in Kotlin or Java and building web services using Spring
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and API ingestion/normalization
- Front-end experience with React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
- Knowledge of modern security best practices, authentication/authorization, and API hardening
- Experience handling large-scale data ingestion, storage, and processing
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring systems
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for the EV platform, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and OEM partners to implement external services.
- Design and manage ingestion and storage of multivariate datasets at scale.
- Build and enhance data lakes and data processing pipelines for analytics and services.
- Develop services to interact with connected vehicles at scale.
- Implement and maintain front-end web applications (UIs) for drivers and clients.
- Ensure security and data protection policies, procedures, and monitoring are in place.
- Design, document, and maintain third-party accessible APIs for data ingest and egress.
- Write and maintain technical documentation and support a 'Dev Owns Quality' culture.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Continued professional development in backend, front-end, or cloud technologies preferred
