Python Developer, Sr. (Backend)

This senior backend role is ideal for a Python developer passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment alongside product managers, designers, and clients, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade systems. The role emphasizes code quality, maintainability, and reliability, while also supporting operational and integration needs. You will translate product requirements into technical solutions, optimize backend services for performance, and ensure smooth delivery across development phases. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend applications.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness in production environments.
• Support development, testing, and deployment of client systems and services.
• Translate product requirements into actionable user stories and technical solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including project leads, product managers, and QA, to ensure successful delivery.
• Address bug-fixes and integration issues while maintaining system reliability.
• Support change management and transition responsibilities to client teams as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–11 years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful services with focus on scalability and reliability.
• Understanding of algorithmic techniques and software design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including ORM tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in remote and distributed teams while managing priorities effectively.

• Competitive salary range: $81,372 – $141,500 per year, based on experience.
