Director of Product Operations & Delivery - job 1 of 2

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Candid. We are currently looking for a Director of Product Operations & Delivery in United States.

In this strategic leadership role, you’ll play a key part in transforming product operations by applying best-in-class methodologies to drive delivery excellence across teams. Acting as the connective tissue between product, engineering, and executive stakeholders, you will lead the planning, execution, and refinement of the product lifecycle — from ideation through release. You’ll be instrumental in establishing frameworks, aligning teams, and ensuring that delivery is both efficient and impactful. This is a remote-first opportunity with occasional travel for in-person collaboration.

Accountabilities:

  • Drive and oversee the transition toward modern product development practices that support iterative delivery, discovery, and improvement.
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve product management processes, templates, artifacts, and rituals aligned with organizational culture and goals.
  • Lead planning, tracking, and communication of all release milestones, success metrics, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and product stakeholders to ensure visibility, alignment, and timely risk mitigation.
  • Organize and host product management rituals and cross-divisional communications, including post-release retrospectives and roadmap presentations.
  • Maintain a centralized library of product documentation and lead the configuration and governance of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Track and report product performance metrics; develop dashboards that monitor team outputs, delivery cadence, and product quality.
  • Coach teams on rapid prototyping, experimentation, and solution discovery practices to accelerate innovation and feedback loops.

  • At least 7 years of experience in product management with a strong focus on SaaS environments.
  • Deep expertise in modern product development practices including agile, rapid prototyping, and iterative releases.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-usage SaaS products across multiple release cycles.
  • Highly organized and methodical with strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence); knowledge of feature flagging tools like DevCycle is a plus.
  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder negotiation at the senior leadership level.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience coaching teams and enforcing standards with consistency and clarity.
  • Committed to inclusivity and respectful of diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

  • Competitive salary range of $130,000–$190,000 (adjusted by location and experience)
  • Remote-first work model with required travel for key in-person meetings and an annual all-staff summit
  • 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday
  • Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision)
  • Paid time off, parental leave, compassionate leave, and volunteer time
  • Short-term and long-term disability, paid life and AD&D insurance
  • Retirement plan with contributions and optional matching
  • Summer hours, flexible spending accounts, and public transit pre-tax benefit
  • Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
