Client Service Center Specialist

In this role, you will support clients by providing high-quality assistance across phone, email, and chat channels while ensuring an exceptional service experience. You will handle a wide range of financial inquiries, guide users through account needs, and help resolve issues efficiently. Working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, you will contribute to maintaining high service standards and ensuring every client interaction is smooth, accurate, and professional. This position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless support and consistent service delivery.


Accountabilities:
  • Provide distinctive service through phone, email, and chat, responding to inquiries and resolving client issues promptly.
  • Guide clients on deposit and loan accounts, including balances, histories, payments, card services, and other financial products.
  • Support clients with questions related to service charges, account activity, disclosures, regulations, and privacy requirements.
  • Research issues such as misposted transactions, pending NSF items, statements, checks, and deposits, and deliver requested documentation securely.
  • Assist with online and mobile banking setup, troubleshoot feature-related questions, and liaise with digital banking partners when needed.
  • Evaluate client requests, balancing satisfaction with risk mitigation to protect against loss or fraud.
  • Handle calls related to fraud or identity theft and take appropriate action.
  • Identify client needs and refer them to relevant internal specialties such as Trust, Investments, Insurance, or Treasury Management.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain high service standards and support smooth daily operations.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed to ensure consistent and high-quality client service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services or a related field; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of federal banking regulations, compliance standards, and client privacy requirements.
  • Experience in client-facing service roles; call center experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Tech-savvy, adaptable to new tools, and able to work independently in a 24/7 operational setting.
  • Capability to maintain a high-speed internet connection for remote work as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to outstanding client service.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including extended periods of sitting/standing, manual dexterity, concentration, and occasional physical activity.
