About the Role:

Hims & Hers is seeking a Director of Brand Creative Strategy to support our Brand Team on a full-time, six-month contract. In this role, you’ll drive the creative strategy for our integrated brand campaigns across the Hims & Hers brands. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure the strategy inspires outstanding creative that breaks through the cultural zeitgeist, resonates with consumers, and drives intended brand and business results.

About You:

You’re a seasoned creative strategist with a passion for finding the intersection between a brand’s unique value and consumers’ unique needs. You’re an expert in crafting strategies that translate our brand value in a way that aligns with channel best practices, cultural truths, market opportunities, and unmet needs. You build strategies that inspire breakthrough creative thinking and change customer behavior. You sit at the intersection of culture, consumer, and business, and have seen firsthand how building brand equity impacts the bottom line

You Will:

  • Develop & refine brand personality, positioning, messaging frameworks for the Hims & Hers brands.

  • Drive the development of channel strategies/briefs for our integrated brand campaigns, and provide feedback on channel briefs from cross-functional partners, to ensure consistency across the creative ecosystem during the time of launch.

  • Audit and identify additional opportunities for optimizations across the consumer journey that improve consumers' understanding of our value proposition and create delightful, brand-forward experiences with our brand.

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to provide constructive, actionable feedback to guide creative development and ensure efficacy of creative execution against our brand objectives.

You Have:

  • 10 - 15 years of experience in creative and brand strategy

  • Proven track record of building and scaling brands through creative storytelling.

  • Strong understanding of channel best practices across online and offline consumer touch points

  • Ideally, a mix of brand-side and agency/in-house experience

  • Ideally, healthcare/wellness / D2C brand experience

  • Deep expertise partnering with market research teams to glean powerful insights

  • Comfort navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities

  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills
