Customer Success Engineer (East)

Hightouch is an AI-driven marketing platform that helps marketing and growth teams automate content, campaign planning, and execution by leveraging LLMs and modern cloud data warehouses. We’re seeking a Customer Success Engineer (East) to provide technical support and enablement across our customer base, working closely with Solutions, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to ensure customers achieve value from the platform.

Skills

  • Conversant in SQL or willingness to learn SQL and more advanced topics
  • Technical background through experience or education
  • Familiarity with SaaS tool ecosystems (CRMs, ESPs, ERPs, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent discovery and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Comfort reading API documentation and troubleshooting integrations

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers via Intercom, Slack, email, and phone to resolve technical and product questions
  • Guide customers through onboarding, integrations, and configuration to ensure successful use of the platform
  • Read and apply API documentation to help customers integrate data sources and destinations
  • Troubleshoot data, SQL, and integration issues; reproduce problems and communicate findings
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, Product, and Engineering to escalate and resolve issues
  • Document common solutions, create knowledge base content, and share best practices internally
  • Conduct discovery to understand customer goals and recommend optimal workflows and setups
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer patterns and needs

Education

  • Technical background via experience or formal education
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field is a plus but not required
