About the Role:
The GES NA D&C Governance team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the transformation and integration of Value Engineering, Portfolio, Cost, and Quality Management functions. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive roadmap and program aimed at optimizing these core business functions, driving significant improvements in operational performance. The program will span multiple teams, software systems, and tool development, requiring a strategic leader capable of coordinating cross-organizational efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Create and manage the strategic roadmap for future state operating procedures, systems, and technologies across GES NA D&C, including program milestones, budget, resource needs, and decision-making frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with Governance Pillar leads, global D&C teams, and other planning, execution, and technical teams to align on strategic business decisions and drive results.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, establishing regular communication channels to ensure alignment and progress on key initiatives.
- Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to support business and technology implementations, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Execution & Monitoring: Drive the execution of the overall program, monitor progress, remove obstacles, manage risks, and ensure deliverables are met.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the development and continuous improvement of Governance and D&C processes to enhance performance and adherence to business requirements.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Develop best practices for technical documentation, product development, and technical program management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality management, and risk management.
- Proven experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams, developing processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience owning and defining roadmap strategy.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in process development and improvement in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Master's in Engineering or an MBA.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in technical product or program management at Amazon.
- Experience managing projects impacting Amazon Operations in the First, Middle, or Last Mile.
- Familiarity with BI dashboards and tools.
- Experience with systems and tools related to physical infrastructure or product development.
Compensation & Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $133,900/year to $231,400/year, depending on location, experience, and other factors.
