Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-functional healthcare projects (EHR implementations, care model redesigns, regulatory initiatives, facility expansions).
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, success criteria, and detailed project plans (schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments).
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors/consultants to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Monitor project performance using KPIs; identify and report issues, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, state standards).
- Drive process improvement, operational excellence, and change management including end-user training.
- Conduct project evaluations and produce post-implementation assessments and lessons learned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
