Project Scheduler

Luster is hiring a Project Scheduler experienced with Oracle Primavera Cloud Schedule (OPCS) to support large, complex heavy‑civil infrastructure programs (highways, roads, bridges, transit). The role focuses on building logic-driven CPM schedules, integrating procurement and third‑party dependencies, producing progress updates and forecasts, performing schedule risk analyses, and supporting claims and change order assessments.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Oracle Primavera Cloud Schedule (OPCS)
  • Full CPM baseline schedule development and progress updating
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) and cashflow/resource planning
  • Schedule risk analysis (including Monte Carlo simulations)
  • Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, TILOS, Bluebeam or similar tools
  • Advanced Excel and Office 365 skills
  • Resource and cost loading
  • Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder reporting
  • Schedule governance and mentoring

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integrated CPM schedules covering design through turnover with logical links, resource/cost loading, and cost-control coding.
  • Collect field progress data, perform weekly or monthly updates, and produce look‑aheads, variance reports, and earned‑value forecasts.
  • Run critical‑path and what‑if analyses to evaluate sequencing options, recovery plans, and alternative delivery scenarios.
  • Integrate third‑party interfaces, permitting, utility relocations, and long‑lead procurement into the project plan.
  • Generate concise narrative reports, Gantt charts, S‑curves, and KPI dashboards for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Perform schedule‑risk assessments (including Monte Carlo simulations), quantify exposures, recommend contingencies, and track mitigations.
  • Prepare Time Impact Analyses to support change orders and claims linking schedule delays to contractual entitlement.
  • Enforce schedule governance standards, maintain data integrity in scheduling tools, and mentor junior schedulers.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
