Salary Range: $56,000 - $60,000/year

JOB SUMMARY:
The HPS Project Coordinator is an integral part of the affiliate’s success and is essential to further the mission of Habitat for Humanity Kansas City. The position requires frequent homeowner engagement. The Project Coordinator is accountable for scheduling and conducting home assessments for approved applicants. The Project Coordinator is also accountable for preparing a scope of work, soliciting bids from contractors, preparing budgets, tracking projects to completion, and managing all other HPS initiatives (e.g., Rock the Block, Women Build, Veteran’s Build, etc.).
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, possesses good verbal and written communication skills, exceptional multitasking abilities, and a commitment to accountability. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of residential construction, remodeling, and home repairs. The candidate should have skills in building and maintaining relationships with other affordable housing providers, ancillary agencies, and contractors providing home repair services or like type experience.

TRAVEL:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some evening and weekend meetings are required. Outside events, meetings and presentations will be required at times.
