Managing Security Consultant - Okta (Remote in the U.S.)
Skills
- 5+ years engineering experience with Okta and hands-on configuration
- Proven technical leadership experience (Architect, Lead Engineer, Principal)
- Experience building and deploying Okta Workflows
- Strong knowledge of SSO, federation, authentication and authorization concepts
- Experience integrating Okta with HR systems and provisioning sources
- Experience with identity lifecycle management and identity governance concepts
- Client-facing consulting, scoping, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to create technical documentation, test plans, and run test cases
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement Okta-based IAM solutions including SSO, Federation, Lifecycle Management, and Automated Provisioning
- Lead scoping, estimation, and delivery of IAM projects including new installs, upgrades, and re-implementations
- Develop deployment methodology, standards, technical documentation, and test plans consistent with vendor best practices
- Integrate Okta with HR systems and other Anything-as-a-Source solutions
- Build and validate Okta Workflows and custom authentication modules for applications
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and maintenance support for IAM environments
- Translate technical designs for business and executive stakeholders and refine client requirements
- Mentor and guide junior team members and provide technical leadership on project teams
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Relevant professional certifications preferred (Okta certifications recommended)
