The Opportunity

We’re looking for a data-driven, craft-oriented, and energetic Senior Content Designer to join our Activation and Acquisition team within the Growth Area. Your designs, strategy, and content decisions will focus on our users’ very first impression of Grammarly – from communicating user value on our webpages, to helping users decide to sign up, to the way they first onboard and try the product. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with millions of customers and enhance their confidence and the quality of their written expression. With new productivity tools at Grammarly, you’ll also conceptualize the activation journey for a multi-product future - it’s an exciting time to collaborate with a diverse, dynamic team of growth experts committed to innovation and experimentation!

  • Partner with the Core Product, Growth, and Marketing teams to effectively present new features, ensuring users have successful conversational interactions with the product, and know how to get started.
  • Holistically drive the content narrative across logged out touchpoints like SEO pages, homepages, and web based tools, as well as first touch in-product sign in, welcome, setup and orientation.
  • Engage in rapid A/B testing and iterative improvements to optimize sign up, activation and repeat engagement, driving impactful changes based on data-driven and research-backed insights.
  • Drive a seamless narrative for the new user journey to improve user satisfaction, continuity, clarity, delight and retention.
  • Translate Grammarly’s strategic business objectives and user needs to proactive growth opportunities, practical internal frameworks, best practices, and contributions to a cohesive roadmap.
  • Partner with user researchers to catalyze insight-driven approaches in your design process. Ensure user experience enhancements and solutions resonate with our target audiences.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working and collaborating with product designers in Figma.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; can write short, relevant, actionable, and engaging text without sacrificing grammar or quality.
  • Ability to learn new subjects quickly—implementing feedback, giving constructive feedback, and positively contributing to a collaborative environment.
  • Can adapt between zero-to-one projects and iterative work.
  • Highly curious about user needs, growth strategy, and business goals.
  • Experience with paid subscription models is a plus!
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; can write and relay context, concepts, and rationale with engaging storytelling and impact to various levels of stakeholders
  • Is passionate and curious about the AI and productivity industry, changing writing trends, and trying new approaches from the content design industry
  • Has a growth mindset and runs wholeheartedly toward a challenge.
  • Has a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manages tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyzes and executes work efficiently, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments.
  • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
