Replit is seeking a Technical Product Designer, you'll be the bridge between complex technical capabilities and intuitive user experiences. If you're energized by building from the ground up in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve quickly, this role is for you. This is a high-impact role where your design decisions will directly influence our product direction and user adoption.
What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end design processes from user research to final implementation
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for technical products
Partner closely with engineering to understand technical constraints and opportunities
Participate in product planning and technical architecture discussions
Translate technical concepts into accessible user experiences
Design APIs, developer tools, and technical documentation experiences
Create designs that scale with system complexity and data volume
Creation of design systems and component-based design thinking
What We're Looking For
5+ years of product design experience, with at least 1+ years designing technical products
Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and software development processes
Familiarity with frontend development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
Experience designing for APIs, databases, or developer tools
Understanding of system architecture and data flow concepts
Experience with version control systems (Git) is a plus
Bonus Points
Experience at an early-stage startup or high-growth tech company
Background in engineering, computer science, or technical field
Utilizing AI tools in your workflow
