Grammarly is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, responsible for scaling cloud infrastructure and leading a growing team in a hybrid work model from San Francisco.
Responsibilities: Lead the SRE team, hire new team members, develop infrastructure plans, coordinate with engineering teams, and manage incident response.
Skills: Expertise in SRE practices, experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and familiarity with Kubernetes are required; remote team management experience is a plus.
Qualifications: 5+ years of SRE experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role, along with a deep understanding of the SRE software lifecycle.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an SRE Manager to lead our Infrastructure Team. This role will be hands-on as we build out an SRE team at Grammarly and involve all phases of the SRE lifecycle, from planning to incident management.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States:
Zone 1: $260,000 – $340,000/year (USD)
