MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Solutions Director, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will work with the National Intelligence Sector Business Area Leads, Program Delivery teams, and Sector CTO to ensure successful, on-time capability delivery. Working across the portfolio, you will ensure technical program execution and identify operational efficiencies by establishing standard approaches to deliver technical capability, facilitate tailoring to meet mission objectives, and provide surveillance and oversight on a regular basis. You will identify and review program performance metrics to ensure program delivery excellence and will engage directly with programs to support at all levels of technical execution as needed. You will identify opportunities for collaboration across the portfolio and will facilitate technical exchanges, including documenting and maintaining best practices for reuse across the Sector. As an innovator, you will identify gaps and opportunities and provide feedback to stakeholders on potential investments to advance the mission. You will also participate in growth activities, including participating in color team reviews.
Key responsibilities include:
Program Delivery Support – Candidates will engage with Sector and Business Area Leadership, Program Leadership, and CTO to:
Support program delivery by establishing standardized approaches, identifying performance metrics or ongoing program surveillance, and review program performance on a regular cadence
Support technical execution on programs, including supporting Agile development processes, supporting program quality, and engaging with customers to identify opportunities and address pain points.
Technical Innovation – Candidates will facilitate innovation on delivery programs by:
Identifying opportunities for technology insertion
Coordinate needs for IRAD and other investments
Facilitate collaboration across the NIS portfolio
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Solutions Director must have:
● Education: Bachelors degree
● Experience: 15 or more years working experience in a technical role with at least 2 years working with restricted customers
● Technical skills: Experience managing Agile processes, including Lean or SAFe. Experience measuring program performance towards delivery
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Poly
● US citizenship required
