Senior Business Development Consultant in Higher Education

Gallup's Education division is seeking a Senior Business Development Consultant to drive growth and cultural transformation across higher education institutions. This role partners with university presidents, deans and senior leaders to translate Gallup’s research and analytics into pragmatic strategies that measurably improve student and institutional outcomes while building and managing a high-value consultative sales portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted adviser to university presidents, deans and senior higher-education leaders
  • Translate complex data and analytics into actionable strategies that drive cultural transformation
  • Build and manage a $2M portfolio of education clients, expanding relationships and cultivating new opportunities
  • Meet and exceed consultative sales goals including bookings, revenue and client impact
  • Deliver data-driven presentations to boards, cabinets and leadership teams
  • Architect custom solutions integrating Gallup research, people and tools to address client-specific challenges
  • Provide thought leadership and guide executives through planning and measurement of outcomes
  • Manage contracts, deliverables and client engagements with high attention to quality and timelines
  • Travel up to 25% to meet client and organizational needs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.; position not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site in Omaha at least three days per week
