Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, draft, and negotiate a high volume of clinical and research agreements (CTAs, investigator-initiated study agreements, MTAs, etc.).
- Drive efficiency and coordination in contract processes and support stakeholders to meet business needs.
- Assess legal and compliance risks in contract terms and work with attorneys to provide practical solutions.
- Communicate risks and mitigation strategies to business partners and project stakeholders.
- Use and administer the contracts management system and train others on its use.
- Support fact-gathering, prepare legal guidance materials, and deliver trainings and presentations on contract-related topics.
- Assist IP lead with patent assignments and the scientific publication process.
- Support Enterprise Risk Management implementation and related administrative legal tasks.
- Develop and maintain contract playbooks, templates, and standardized processes.
- Review study start-up documents and client-facing presentations; handle other assignments as needed.
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with significant relevant experience
- Paralegal certificate or legal support training advantageous
Benefits
