At Freedom Solar, we have built a customer-focused, turnkey solar installation experience that is unusual in the industry. Unlike most solar companies, we serve our customers through the entirety of their solar journey, from marketing and sales, to installation, to service and warranty coverage. The Regional Project Coordinator (RPC) will serve as a critical bridge between customer care and operations. The RPC will be responsible for facilitating faster response times to customers, managing escalations, and ensuring that all process updates and changes are communicated effectively across teams.


Key Responsibilities: Customer Communication & Escalation Management
  • Coordinate and schedule installations and services with customers.
  • Act as a direct liaison between the operations team and customers, ensuring timely updates and responses.
  • Assist with managing and resolving escalated customer concerns, collaborating with the Regional Operations Manager (ROM).
  • Collaborate with utilities for interconnections and train customers on system operations.


Key Responsibilities: Project Tracking & Coordination
  • Manage solar installation workflow for the region. 
  • Manage customer accounts in Project Sunrise from installation to project completion.
  • Work closely with the ROM to track project timelines, milestones, and any issues that arise during the solar installation process.
  • Process installation reporting and upload photos and documents into customers' files. 
  • Initiate inspection processes, communicating with the Inspections Coordinator. 
  • Provide feedback and insights to both operations and customer care to facilitate continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities: Crews Collaboration & Knowledge Development:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the installation crews to ensure efficient communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with ROM and HR department on employee relations issues. 
  • Responsible for the accuracy of information provided to the crews, within the crew Job Packet. 
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of operational changes, assisting crews and operations with adapting to new systems or equipment.
  • Continuously learn the evolving solar process, staying updated on best practices and regional developments.


Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, customer service, or operations preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with both customers and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of solar installation processes or construction project management is a plus.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle escalations effectively.
