Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Patient Care Coordinators and Leads; conduct regular quality reviews and performance evaluations.
- Partner with Product and L&D to create and maintain training materials and onboarding programs.
- Oversee clinical operations tasks including medical assistant duties: records review, eligibility determination, pre-visit lab orders, medical record collection, prior authorization coordination, and medication refill support.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment support to optimize clinic capacity and minimize wait times.
- Support clinicians by ensuring accurate input of vitals and documentation into the EHR and coordinating PCC tasking.
- Manage and resolve patient escalations related to prescriptions, billing, and scheduling with empathy and effectiveness.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs and trends to inform operational decisions and identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to advocate for system enhancements and better operational tools.
- Support data collection for clinical performance tracking and quality improvement efforts; contribute to special projects as needed.
Education
- Active Medical Assistant (MA) certificate required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
