As an IT Support Manager at Flock Safety, you'll be a dynamic leader dedicated to empowering our organization through technology. You will translate complex technical challenges into seamless user experiences, effectively bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs. You'll lead a team of IT Support Analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.

Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of core IT infrastructure, including:
Operating Systems: Windows and macOS environments.
Productivity Suites: Google Workspace (G Suite) Slack, Jira Service Management, and Microsoft O365 administration.
Hardware: Desktop, laptop, and mobile device support.
Networking Fundamentals: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
SaaS Applications: Experience with managing and supporting various cloud-based applications.
Access Policies: Identity Access Management (IAM), Okta SSO/SCIM
Asset Management: familiarity with Antivirus, inventory management, patching, and backup procedures for Mac and Windows.
Builder Mentality: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to identifying, prioritizing, and resolving complex IT issues. Ability to troubleshoot effectively and guide your team through challenging scenarios.

Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in IT support roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.
The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.
The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $120,000-$140,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
