Skills
- 3+ years professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design and architecture experience with OOA/OOD patterns
- Proficiency in at least one language such as Ruby, JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin
- Experience building distributed systems and microservices
- Familiarity with testing, CI/CD, and production deployments
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain secure, highly available microservices and APIs
- Model and implement logistics entities (shippers, carriers, cargo, documents, accessorials, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ship incrementally and frequently; participate in continuous deployment and iterative delivery
- Monitor service health, obsess over metrics, and apply post-mortem learnings to reduce incidents
- Drive automation in tender management, workflow orchestration, exception handling, and billing
- Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and maintain high code quality and test coverage
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
