Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation, reporting, and control of multiple AI/ML or computational projects across assigned ventures.
- Own technical direction: method development, pipeline design, benchmarking, scaling, and production-grade implementation including LLM/agentic workflows.
- Promote best practices and operational excellence across cross-functional collaborators.
- Manage or coordinate scientists and engineers, mentor early hires, and support recruiting and interviews.
- Contribute to project planning, budgeting, resourcing, risk identification, and tradeoff analysis.
- Scout and synthesize emerging literature and AI/ML landscape to propose new strategies and opportunities.
- Represent Pioneering Intelligence to portfolio companies and external partners; present at conferences and meetings.
- Translate complex technical findings for diverse audiences and influence project direction.
Education
- Master’s or PhD in machine learning, mathematics, statistics, computational sciences, bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field.
