Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the site EHS Management System and company EHS standards.
- Partner with site and functional leadership to integrate EHS requirements into business operations and respond to regulatory changes.
- Provide hands-on EHS guidance for laboratory and office activities, including hazard identification and mitigation.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop EHS staff; build accountability and capability within the team.
- Define short- and long-term EHS goals, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting dashboards for leadership.
- Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking for high-risk areas.
- Manage EHS budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, and response planning for employees and facilities.
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management including inspections, training, and recordkeeping.
- Engage with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders as required.
Education
- BS/BA in Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental science, or related technical discipline required.
- Masterās degree in an EHS discipline preferred.
- Professional EHS certification (CIH, CSP) highly desirable.
