Data Scientist – AI

Overview

It's an exciting time to join Fisher Investments! As we expand our AI initiatives globally, we are looking for a Data Scientist who will uncover insights, build predictive models, and deliver AI-powered solutions that drive real business impact.

The Opportunity:

The Data Scientist will design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models to solve business problems in wealth management and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and productionize solutions. You will report to the Vice President, Technology Innovation.

The Day-to-Day:

• Design, develop, and validate predictive and prescriptive ML models
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data science solutions
• Conduct feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter tuning
• Use statistical analysis and visualization to uncover insights from large datasets
• Work with MLOps engineers to deploy, monitor, and improve on models in production
• Document methodologies and ensure reproducibility of results
• Experiment with NVIDIA NeMo frameworks for LLM fine-tuning and leverage NIMs for optimized deployment
• Apply Azure AI services to production use cases in NLP, computer vision, and generative AI

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, and PyTorch)
• Strong statistical and mathematical foundation (probability, optimization, regression, classification, and clustering)
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Azure ML, Snowflake)
• Proficiency in SQL and data wrangling techniques
• Experience applying NVIDIA NeMo services for foundation model customization and NIMs for optimized inference
• Deep knowledge of Azure AI services (ML, Cognitive Services, OpenAI)
• Advanced degree (Masters/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field preferred
