Senior Software Engineer

Who We’re Looking For:
We want a true product-builder - a software engineer who can spin up an MVP in a weekend and isn’t scared to break things to move forward. If you thrive under minimal guidance, can turn rough specs into polished experiences fast, and love working directly with founders to shape the product, this role is for you. If you prefer big-company hand-holding or need months to ship a simple feature, move on.

What You’ll Do:

• Ship at Lightning Speed: You’ll go from concept to prototype to production in days, not quarters. We deploy early and often.
• Own the Front-End Experience: You’ll build slick, responsive UI/UX flows from scratch using your choice of modern frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.). You iterate quickly - if something’s off by a pixel or takes 500ms too long to load, you fix it on the spot.
• Integrate AI: You’ll be hooking up LLMs and working with workflow orchestration platforms as well as getting hands-on experience with prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases. If you’ve been tinkering with your own AI apps or hacking on LangChain side projects, you’ll fit right in.
• Full-Stack When Needed: No waiting on a separate backend team, you can spin up your own APIs, tweak the database schema, and deploy serverless backends. Whatever it takes to get a feature live.
• Direct Impact on Product Direction: You’ll be part of a small, elite team working directly with the Founder on special projects. Your technical decisions shape the company’s trajectory. We don’t have a giant org chart - just builders getting it done.

• Works Without a Safety Net: You’re comfortable building an entire application alone if you have to. That might mean coding all weekend (because you want to, not because you have to) to launch a killer demo by Monday morning.

• Is Obsessed With Results: You measure yourself by what’s live, not what’s in a backlog. You roll up your sleeves, debug, optimize, and ship until the product sings.
• Has Already Played With LLMs on Your Own Time: Maybe you’ve built a side project hooking up an LLM to a custom tool, or experimented with prompt-chains. Show us what you’ve done - pet projects are a huge plus.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, ideally in fast-moving, product-oriented environments
• Deep experience with web stacks (e.g. React, Node, PHP, Python), cloud platforms (Heroku, AWS, Firebase), and CI/CD tooling
• Strong understanding of backend system design: queues, observability, distributed architecture, event-based systems
• Bonus: experience working with LLM APIs, prompt orchestration, or building agentic AI systems
• Bonus: exposure to tools in their stack like Metabase, Postmark, Twilio, and Firebase
