About the Role
As a Business Development Analyst II, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth at FHI 360 through market analysis, CRM optimization, and data-driven insights. You’ll support business development initiatives by empowering teams with actionable intelligence.
What You’ll Do
Conduct market and competitive analysis, particularly of the foundation and corporate giving markets, to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks.
Support organizational adoption of CRM system and processes (e.g., Salesforce) to improve data integrity, track engagement, and optimize outreach strategies.
Develop and lead trainings for staff at all levels of the organization on systems, tools, and reporting best practices.
Collect, manipulates, and analyzes data including developing and distributing custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations to help stakeholders interpret and use data.
Support the design, testing, and implementation of business systems and processes, and prepare procedural and operational manuals/guides on such systems and processes.
Stay informed on industry trends, funding landscapes, and global developments.
What You Bring
Required:
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently, and the desire and willingness to solve problems as you identify them.
Strong background in foundation/corporate engagement and business development.
Proven experience helping organizations successfully adopt CRM practices (Salesforce preferred).
Training and facilitation skills across diverse teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Market analysis expertise, ideally with foundation and corporate giving experience.
Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills, particularly related to leading trainings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Power BI.
Preferred:
Experience with foundation or corporate funding sources.
Salesforce experience preferred.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
5–8 years of relevant industry experience.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidates FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
US Based Hiring Salary Range: USD 90,000 - USD 110,000
International hiring ranges will differ based on location
