- Juris Doctor and active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction
- Minimum 5 years of experience practicing law with corporate in-house or equivalent experience
- Experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing, and enterprise technology agreements
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise counterparty negotiations and channel/reseller agreements
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, information security, and privacy laws and regulations
- Experience identifying and resolving booking and revenue recognition issues
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills
Responsibilities
- Provide timely legal advice and guidance to leadership, sales, and internal stakeholders on commercial, regulatory, and information security/privacy issues.
- Review, draft, and negotiate SaaS, licensing, reseller/channel, strategic alliance, procurement, and related commercial agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure contracts and policies meet legal and company standards.
- Deliver training and onboarding materials for sales and leadership on legal risks and compliance requirements.
- Support complex cross-functional strategic initiatives and escalate legal risks appropriately.
- Identify and remediate booking and revenue recognition issues in technology agreements.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in at least one US jurisdiction
- Undergraduate degree in related field preferred
